What is Tutorial?
The Riverside Tutorial is a place where boys become a brotherhood of creative and courageous men of culture, who see this life as an adventurous pilgrimage to heaven. Through an active and engaging series of creative projects, the apprentices grow in imagination, work as a team, and journey into great stories where they find their creative voice.
Why "Tutorial"?
J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis both taught Tutorials at Oxford, delving into great works of literature with small cadres of men. We named our flagship program the Tutorial in honor of these two men and their ability to inspire the imagination through creative work and friendship.
